Does the cadet have graphics? You can always machine lock and hit cycle start.
This is a little trick to check the integrity of a program, ie 0 (zero) instead of O, comp errors, etc
- do a restart to the end of the program using a number greater than the number of lines in the program
ie RS 9999
this should also display on the graphics screen, the 9999 is number of sequence ops to process, not the line numbering
This should work in most controls
1. Lock the machine. Must be a tumbler "Machine Lock"
2. You can switch on the "Dry Run" also. Must be a tumbler "Dry Run"
3. Auto mode.
4. Call the program to execution (F1)
5. Go to animation screen. Adjust the scale and origin. "Auto" is good, if present.
6. Push the green button: execute the program with machine locked.
I do have graphics.
Ok, I thought it might be something with machine lock or dry run but when I try to select those buttons the interlock button flashes on. I have also tried this with the key in all positions and still doesn't seem to work. Is there a parameter I need to change?
No, you hold down the interlock (I L) button and press dry run or machine lock.
it's dangerous. You need to know what and when to push.I have also tried this with the key in all positions and still doesn't seem to work
If you can place a picture of your control panel here.
