MadCam and grasshopper - automate sectioned region curve operations

    Hi there,

Since a few weeks we are using Madcam and I would like to automate several steps in grasshopper.

I now have a large amount of objects in a large board.

If I select them all at once, madcam makes a lot of rapid traverse movements...

I would like to section it down to 8 regions that it can handle..

But with a 4 step milling proces and two sides it's going to take a lot of time...
Also this kind of operations are going to happen a lot more, so I really would like to script that part..

How can I call the MadCam commands in the grasshopper, is it as simple as the "_MC_PlanarFinishing" command in the command line?

Are there any other concerns to be aware of?

    thanks in advance !

    Denny

Yes, all commands can be scripted. But if you have a shape that is duplicated you can prepare one shape and then copy/paste or array out the toolpath.
