    Need help with a Kwik-Switch 200 spindle

My Boss 5 has a Kwik-Switch 200 spindle. The nut has not been working correctly and was stripped of all the springs and brass plug.

I ordered a repair kit and supposedly have all the parts needed for a complete rebuild.

It seems that the pins that hold the nut on the spindle have been stripped off and I need to figure out which pins, or buttons, are supposed to be there. I have never used a Kwik-Switch and while I understand it is supposed to be a tools free operation I do not know how the nut really works.

Can someone tell me how the nut is supposed to work?

Perfect ! Just what I needed... The instructions said something about a button needing to be depressed. There are more holes in the nut than I thought there needed to be and I was worried that I might be missing a button.... It looks like mine has the small locking pin sheared off and the previous owners were just using the nut as a regular collet nut.

    Thanks!
