Hi:
I´m Ignacio from Chile and I have a esab picorex pxa gas-ox cutter table ( 2 axis)
This table has optical sensor. I use it for hobby, maybe 2 times a month to cut no more than 4 or 5 steel pieces. Since the optical sensor got crazy I want to upgrade it to cnc. It has two motors with the following specs. One motor per axis
type bosch gpa
DC motor continuously energized
rated power 42 W
rated voltage 12 V-
rated current 4 A -
rated speed 200 min-
I was thinking on takr off the optical sensor, And install some kind of kit (new motor and cnc controller for the motor). I want to keep the frame and the gantry of my table, because the have already the parallelism and perpendicularity between their sides
controller have to reconize computer drawings and be able to give cordinate signals to cutter table motors.
My table is only 2 axis and gas-ox system do not need computer height control. (it has manual height control).
What type of kit do I have to use?
Can I use my motors, or I have to buy new ones (how much torque)?
I'm attaching you some pictures of my equipment.
thanks
