I'm looking for a job as a cnc programmer in the Austin and San Antonio area, Texas that is. I prefer small to mid size machine shops willing to hire me as a permanent employee or as a freelance worker. Note: please no staffing/recruiting agencies.

Skills:

- Mastercam X - X6 versions (2D mostly - 3D occasionally); I'm also Mastercam Certified
- HAAS Machines/controls - 3 axis Mills
- Job-shop & prototype environment
- Capable to make fixtures to machine parts
- My forte is High Speed Machining with aluminum alloys (e.g 12 to 124 IPM & 8500 RPMS on average)
- 3D Solid modeling with Mastercam software
- Capable to program “manually” with commonly used G-codes & M-codes
- Capable to control tight tolerances e.g.: +/-.001

Experience:

- 5 years experience programming with Mastercam
- 15 years total experience on the CNC field

Summary:

- Programming, select/set tooling, complete set-up & operation of HAAS CNC Vertical Mills of 3 axis
