How Do You Edit The BCC PP To Get Line Numbering By 2's or 5's or 10's????

    Howdy All,

I am used to a PP posting out Gcode with line numbering increasing by 2, 5, or 10 number "jumps".
    For example:
    N0010 xxx
    N0020 yyy
    N0030 zzz
I find this really helpful if I need to modify the code by hand.

But, ALL of the BCC PP output that I've see give line number sequential by 1's. If you have a control that MUST HAVE line numbers, you need to do a lot of renumbering to add just a single line of comment or whatever.

How do you modify the PP to jump line numbers?

    Thanks for the insight.

    Regards,
    Todd

I can answer that! (I'm new to CB but this was one of the first things I changed).

Go to CAM Defaults->Current Settings...->Posting or change the settings in your specific job. See the screen shot:

    Awesome! Thanks.

I've used BC for years, but I've never used it to CAM a part. I use a different CAM software that works much easier for normal stuff I do. But, I have a buddy that is trying to use BCC to CAM his parts and I'm trying to help him set up his PP to work with his control.

I was looking for that in the PP scripting somewhere. I never thought to look in the program settings.

    Thanks for the pointer.

    Hi Mike,
    It's a Fagor 8025M control.
We got the machine moving and doing basic milling ops (profile, face, pocketing).
Now, it's just the endless PP tweaking to get all the other various operations to script and post out correctly (bores, peck drills, canned cycles, etc.).

    Thanks for the help.
