Need Source - Timing Belts / Gears

I am building a CNC foam cutter and am looking for a source for buying the timing belts and drive gears. Appreciate any links or direction.

What is the standard size people strive for for a simple design, and gear reduction?

Try McMaster Carr. Expensive but speedy delivery and they ususally have what you are looking for!

    Point of correction:

Cogged timing belts and/or chains are used with SPROCKETS, not gears.

Gears transmit power directly from one to the other via tooth to tooth contact.

Ask for and/or purchase the wrong thing, and you could become highly disappointed with the parts you get.
