    Inductive Proximity Sensors

I am getting these proximity sensors:

I have an X3 mill from grizzly and Bob Campbells Mach 2/3 breakout board.

I want to have home and limit switches.

    Now here are my questions.

    1) how many proximity sensors do I need?
    2) where do I put them on my X3?

    thanks a lot,
    Nick

Hi nick hope this help :
acording to what i saw you may use up to 2 sensors per axis
1 for home sw an asecond one for limit.
    home sensors go to j6 (X) j7(Y) j8(Z)

    limit sensor goes to j10(X) j11(Y) j12(Z)

Thanks. I'm still having a hard time figuring out where to physically attach them to the mill.

i suggest you install it in a L shape metal and use another piece as a flag
so the sensor detects this metal piece remember the sensors must remain
quiet (unmovil) and the flag goes on the movement part x,y axis
    sorry for my english
    good luck!
