Hello everyone not a good day so im hoping i could get some help. I have the 2.2 KW spindle with the corresponding inverter from Huanyang inverter. Had it all hooked up running good but i noticed it kept saying it was only reving up to 11520 at 400hz Max. So i was making some changes in the settings

PD000 - 0
PD001 - 0
PD002 - 0
PD003 - 400
PD004 - 400
PD005 - 400
PD006 - 2.5
PD007 - .50
PD008 - 220

I adjusted PD004 - to 50 (says that is the factory setting) turned it back on, sounded funny, within 5s smoke came out of the motor. My inverter now says DL error and wont run no more. Was this my fault or was this something on their part? Says its factory setting - can be adjusted to .01-400 hz. What should i do to get this fix or any recommendations?

Yes you have Damaged the drive, It has blown the IBGT's, & when there is smoke,there may be more that just that part

Your settings should be as below

PD000=0 for Parameter unlock ( 1 ) for Parameter Lock
PD001=0 (1 For Remote Control)
PD002=0
PD003=400
PD004=400
PD005=400
PD007=20
PD008=220
PD011=120 (Minimum Setting 120)
PD009=15

PD13= 08 is for Factory reset, Only use this to set VFD to Factory Default Settings
PD014 Accel=12 ( Adjust to suit)
PD015 Deccl=12 (Adjust to suit) ( PD15 is ignored IF PD26=1 Then the Spindle will Coast to a Stop)
PD141=220 ( Motor Rated Voltage )
PD142=9 ( Motor Max Amps) (Set for your motor Amp Rating 2.2Kw Spindle 9 amp Max)
(Set for your motor Amp Rating 1.5Kw Spindle 7 amp Max)
PD143=2 ( Motor Number of Poles)
PD144=3000 (Max Motor RPM) =3,000= (24,000)

Everything has to be adjusted to suit what ever motor is being used with the VFD, Parameters need to be set correct, these VFD Drives are very sensitive to incorrect settings, you may have damage to the spindle motor as well, if smoke was coming from it, this will have to be tested to see if it is ok
