    searching far and wide

    Hi all

I am searching for a Deckel FP4 type CNC universal toolroom milling machine.

What machines are about the same versatility? Need Quill. Newer control would be nice.

Has anyone come across something like that? Is anybody manufacturing anything like that?

Maybe you should start with what parts and features you intend to machine, rather than asking for a Deckel or clone. It's possible you could do the same job on a Fadal vertical with five axis table option.

its a whole set of parts

Its a whole set of parts. I do need a quill, vertical spindle, open table(no guards) 22"x20"x16" workcube, ridgid machine, glass scale. The only thing to change would be software, should be newer.

    Gandalf:
Perhaps you should check out "Kunzmann"
They make a curent line of machines made in Germany with modern controls. The machines are similar to the original "FP-NC" line ot Deckels.
    Cheers Ross
