    Postprocessor question

    Hi,

I have a problem with one post when I am using trajectory mill with lead_radius option.

If the lead_radius is smaller than the radius of the tool then the tool is going inside my piece
with the difference between the two radius.

Does anyone how had this problem can guide me to solve this problem.

    Re: Postprocessor question

    Hi there,

You need to go "parameters" select "all" filter by "machine settings" and find the parameter that say Arc-only and change to point-only.

Or on trajectory mill go to "check surfaces" and add the piece.

    Hope i helped.

    hi Tiago,

Thanks for your suggestion and with point only it is not a solutions,

I think I have to study better the controller manual because I have found that I have to put also G43 befor G41 or G42.

    Re: Postprocessor question

    You are using tool compensation?

Probably that is your problem. Cam software don't work very well with G41 or G42

And G43 is for read the tool lengh that you have in tool offset

    For example:

    T16M6
    T16
    S3500M3
    M8
    G0X144.265Y12.5
    G43Z15.H16

    Re: Postprocessor question

    Hi,
I have identified the problem and it was that the controller needed
G43/G44 which is -Tool Radius Comp. TO/PAST End Point so I just needed G43 first and after G41/G42
    and everything worked well.
    thank you.
