Exclamation 80w chinese Y axis near/far field beam alignment

Hello, I am trying to get my laser's beam aligned and its proving to be pretty difficult for me. I took the laser tube out and put in a red laser pointer. I also constructed an arm with a crosshair in it that i can put in place for near field alignment. I have the red laser hitting the center of mirror one, and i'm trying to get mirror two aligned. I have it nearest the first mirror and aligned it to hit the center. I took the mirror out and put a piece of tape with a mark on it to show where the dot is hitting. I then moved the gantry all the way to the front, but I can't seem to get it dialed in. the beam is about 3mm up and 1mm to the right.

Anyone have any tricks I could try out?

the first thing you need to do is make sure all your mirrors are at th same height. One of mine was a little lower and I couldn't get it to align.

Great advice! I went back and re leveled the machine and I was able to get the first beam very very close within 30 minutes of playing with the adjustments. The machine turned out to be 0.5 degrees out of level. Tomorrow when I get some time, i'll look over the attached videos and give the 2nd beam axis a test go. thanks for the input!

ps, I also learned the hard way how squeaky clean the mirrors need to be.
