I need to mill some 7075 aluminum. Cutting rocker arm bodies out of 1"x3" bar. I have center cut, carbide end mills, 3 flute, helix for aluminum, in 3/8" and 1/2", both with 1" length of cut. There is a through hole 1" in diameter and the outer profile. Any suggestions on depth of cut, feedrate and rpm? The inside radius on the bottom is .25" but that can be made larger for the 1/2" end mill. I will be using Cool Mist. I would rather use the 3/8" end mill as I can fit more parts on the stock.

GWizard suggests for the 3/8" end mill slotting at 1/2" DOC, 2000 RPM, 6 IPM and plunging at 2 IPM. And for the 1/2" with 1/2" DOC, 2000 RPM, 9 IPM and plunging at 3 IPM. Any feel for how that works on the Patriot?
