Axis won,t reset on Fanuc O-MC

According to the manual I should be able to reset the relative and absolute positions to zero by going to the appropriate sceen, keying in the selected axis addresses to make them blink and pressing cancel to reset them. When I attempt this, the adresses don't blink. Can anyone help?
    Thanks.

You can't reset the absolute postion to zero other than by referencing. The relative you can reset by pressing X or Y or Z or all together and pressing cancel after reffing - any help?

Thanks for your reply. That's been tried with no luck. I think I may have bigger troubles, When I go into MDI and attempt to input G90, nothing happens when I press the "G" key. when I then press the "9" key the g appears on the screen. I'm befuddled.

You can have two keypads on the 0, called Standard or Full, they are set by P38.3 ****X*** (1-Full 0=Standard).
