I just sold my Bridgeport romi ez path lathe and am having sellers remorse. I really never used the thing but having the potential was nice. It was taking up a lot of space and I could get some good money out of it. I am thinking about what I should do now for my home shop. Should I buy a small metal lathe and retrofit it or are those little trainer lathes capable of cutting steel and holding tolerances. I always see the videos cutting plastic or aluminum but never steel. Is it a torque issue having to run slower rpm.
