    Powerpath 15 x axis servo

Has anyone replaced the x axis servo on the powerpath 15? The motor does not want to slip out. Not sure if the coupler needs to be loosened first.

Loosen the four lower bolts in the coupler. Drive the wedge out with a chisel in the space between wedge and main body. Motor comes out with coupler attached. Loosen the four upper wedge bolts to remove from the coupler from motor shaft.
Install coupler on new motor and install in the ball screw mount. No key. Tighten wedge bolts to just this side of braking point.
Of course, the motor/encoder was not the problem.
