[CNC_What]

HI,

I've had a read through some of the other post here and hope someone will be able to assist me with the couple of questions I have.

I have a TZJDCNC 6090
I have installed NCStudio 5.4.53 and there are no errors starting the program and the controller card has a driver in device manager.

The problem is when I start the NCstudio the machine immediately starts moving every axis and just continues till it hits the end and then keeps trying to go.
I have tried swapping axis polarity and adjusting the machine size in the manufactory and the spindle settings are correct according to tzjdcnc documentation.

They appear to resolve it with NC studio 5.5.60 however the thread is old.

How do i tell which version of NCstudio will work with my controller card?


Second issue: I eventually made type3 work however it is inconsistent and crashes, i believe this is because the product provided is an old pirated copy.
I just want to do some basic engraving. Can anyone recommend software I can purchase that will not be prohibitive in cost?
I saw Artcam express, would this work with ncstudio?

in case anyone looks at this for answers. I don't know how to tell which version of ncstudio will work for which card.
NCstudio v5.50.60 worked for me though.

As far as basic engraving artcam express does export to gcode so it should work,

NC studio takes G-Code from any CAD/CAM on the market.
I do not see any specific list in CNC zone for CAD & CAM but here is one on top of my head:
