Vcarve Pro - Help making a Sign

    Hello,
I was wondering if it was possible to hire someone to layout something in vcarve pro for me, and then send the 'cut ready file" back to me so I could cut on my own machine?!
The file I am trying to cut is complicated for myself, and my employer is very busy and does not have the time to teach or learn himself. He asked me to find someone to do this for us.
If you cannot would you be able to redirect to someone who could.
The attached image is what the finish piece needs to look like.
What im having problems with mostly is trying to get a woodgrain texture, as well as the beans to look 3D almost,i find using the prism carving toolpath does give them the right look
if anyone can help me please let me know and I can email the file

    thanks
    krissy

You're not really going to be able to get those beans to "look 3D" with V-Carve Pro.

Gerry, some helpful hints might help.

Can Aspire be used to create this sign and then Krissy can take the G-Code and cut out the sign?

Or would you recommend a two operation task, where the beans are added to the base sign?

Yes, you could create the beans in Aspire, or with a 3D modelling program and cut3D or MeshCAM.
Looking at the pic, you can see that the beans start at the level of the outer and inner rings, and are applied on top of that surface.
The woodgrain appears to be a simple cut along vectors with a V bit, rather than a 3D carve effect. I really like the look of this, and it's much faster to cut than a carved woodgrain, which doesn't always look that good. This could be accomplished by hand tracing some vectors over a wood grain image.

The letters look to be applied right on top of the woodgrain texture.

I've never actually made a sign before, but this is what I'm seeing.
