Re: Bridgeport EZPath SD No BMDC Desktop I have Disks, forgot what to load
This means the BMDC did not load. Because you have the S version, I know it has a Control in a box with a half size all in one mother board. This may have a daughter board for mass memory, or a disk on a chip, or if updated a Disk on a module. the mother board talks to the BMDC via the back plane. So, here are the possibilities. corrupted memory so you need to reload the software (I usually nuke it and start from scratch but for nuking you need to know what you have. A disk on a chip or a daughter board requires special software).. or bad memory so disable the disk on a chip and get a disk on a module. Could be communication, so pull the mother board and the BMDC and clean the edge connector on both with a soft eraser. Re seat and try. Worst case is that the BMDC is bad. I should mention that I have had issues with the logic power supply in the Romi CIB machines. it has very poor regulation.
