I can barely see the snaps in 3D. Theyre small white against a gray model.
The "manual" says snaps text color and transparency can be changed.
Yet under Preferences > Snaps there is no way to change.
Any other way to change snaps test color, transparency and size ?

If ViaCad v9 is the same as SharkFX, Snaps text color and transparency changing is a Mac only option.
Are you using Windows or Mac?

PC. The model is shaded gray. White Snaps text disappear against this shading.
Changed the model color shading to more white. The snaps automatically changed to black. Better, but still very small.
What screen resolution is used ?
