Which is good drive system belt drive or gear druve

Hello peoples i own a excitech e2 rack cnc router with stepper motor fixed with japan shimpo reducer.

Now i buy a new excitech e2 cnc router with atc spindle osai controller delta servo motors drive with timming belts.

And when i look at the excitech venture series cnc router also fixed with shimpo reducer.

Question which drive system is good.

And why excitech made E2 atc with belt drive system.

    Thank you

I think drive system with reducer is better. With time going, the belt drive system will loosen. And for the atc machine you choose, we suggest you add reducers on X,Y axis. Of course, it will add the cost too.

One more question own a.techno hds series cnc router with delta servo motor 400 watts fixed with reducer.

One other option is 750 watts belt driven system.

    Which is good.
or 400 watts with reducer is good enough.

    Reply is appreciated.
