Unhappy Vfd spindle speed control through 0 -10v on bob with sunfar e300 and mach3

Hi,firstly I'd like to say thanks to all you guys for your invaluable info that has nearly got me set up..
I'm converting from ncstudio to mach3, I've bought a 5 axis bob and managed to wire it correctly I think....
X,y,z all working and calibrated, just my spindle to sort.
I have a sunfar e300 inverter with a 2.2kw 400hz motor..I've got the inverter hooked upto the 0 - 10v on the bob and the spindle fires up
I'm just unable to change the speed in mdi, I can enter different speeds but it stays the same...
If I alter motor tuning values I can run at various hz 400 which I'm assuming is giving me 24000 rpm and if I change the value in tuning under 1 - 5 us it alters the volts coming from the bob so I can vary the speed using that but not by starting the spindle and altering speeds in mdi .
I'm also not getting my rpm in mach3 Sro .

Any help with settings in mach3 or sunfar Params would be greatly appreciated..
If I'm missing something in my wiring or hardware then again I would appreciate some help.

    Thanks

    Jonny

How does your breakout board generate the 0-10V? Does it use Step/Dir or PWM? Do you have Mach3 configured for whichever it uses?

    hi,yeah the bob has a 0 - 10v output for inverter,its a step dir spindle 2.2kw 24000rpm 400hz max..

update.. ican get max rpm in mdi showing 400hz on inverter and also vary speed now but anything less than max rpm is way off the mark..ie 12000rpm is only going at 8000rpm on tachometer..

    cheers

Did you configure the pulley speeds? That's what controls the rpm range.
