no new computers have parallel?? experience on adding parallel port yourself?

Can you just add parallel port(s) to a regular stationary pc and make it work with mach3? Isn't there something about some port address' that need to be correct for it to work?

I'll greatly appreciate any advice thx!

You can use add in cards. You will find the correct port address to put into Mach 3 under the Device Manager in the Windows control panel after it is installed.
