Taig Micro Mill 2000 steps per unit

    Hi,

I just got a Taig Micro Mill from Taig Tools in Canberra and I cant get the actual machine movement to match the axis DRO's. I just started using MACH 2.

Im guessing my motor steps per unit are stup wrong. I have them set at 8000 steps per unit as per the instructions but this cant be correct as the machine bottoms out and the DRO's say it has only moved a couple of (mm).

Please help, ive done a search of this forum but couldnt find any info to help.

    Thanks.

Oh yeah, also what velocities and accelerations do you have your motors tuned at?
