Help with stepper choice for 6040

Now I'm wanting to get into the CNC rounter for cutting MDF, plasitcs and carbon fiber.
I'm looking hard at the 6040.
I've decided the best is to buy the bare frame and piece together my own.
I'm up to $1660 so far with Frame, 1.5kw spindle and 2.2kw VFD, Gecko g540, 48v power supply and nice brushed aluminum box for it.

All that's left are the steppers.
Looking at the 260 oz to 400 oz range.
I see they come in two flavors of inductance each.
Low mH and higher mH. Which is better?
What are the advantages and disadvantages of each type?
Any reason to go for the higher torque rating?
I think they come standard with 270oz. Are they big enough?

    Thanks,
    James

You can also consider the whole machine. Is it beautiful or not?

Re: Help with stepper choice for 6040

I bought a 6040 body only from carving-cmc, adding their standard stepper motors, which I believe are 3A 250 oz.in. I've been happy with them cutting plastic at up to 1200 mm/min and rapids at 2000mm/min. They do get pretty hot -- almost too hot to touch. I've considered reducing the max current to 2.8A, but I haven't bothered yet.

    I've done aluminium at about 500 mm/min.
