    Baltic Birtch Number Of Passes

Can Anybody here with a 40W machine let me know how many passes you need to cut through 1/8" & 1/4" baltic birtch? I do not care about burning as long as the edges are strait and only need a slight sanding. Everything I make will be primed and painted.

    I use a converted 40W with the DSP AWC 608 and cut 1/8 birch with 10mm/s 15mA, and 1/4 birch with 6mm/s with 15mA.

Thanks for the reply. Any quality issues with the sides? Whats the thickest you can cut?

no side issues except the light brown coloring.
I can cut birch ply up to 3/8 inch (10MM) with reduced speed down to 3 to 4mm/s
