Question Haas TM-1 Alarm 104 Y servo error too Large

    Hey,

We have a Haas TM-1 and the Y servo keeps coming up with alarm 104.

We swapped the servos from the X axis to the Y. Y seemed to work.

Is it a servo problem or parameter issue?

Also if it is a servo problem and we change it will it mess up our parameters?

    Thanks,

    Attila

After you swap the motors, how is the x motor now?
Compear the parameters x and y , they should be the same. The only one parameter you have to set is your "grid offset"

Did you try to rotate the ballscrew by hand x and y? How does it fill???
I'm sure that's not the parameters issue.
If you send me your parameters together with the serial#I can check it out ,

Not sure if the TM1 servo's have a encoder or resolver, but I have found that this kind of error has been traced back to the (encoder/resolver) in the other machines we've had. Not counting the movement correctly.
