    printer port on hp compaq to connect 4 axis driver

    i have wan tai 4 axis driver which connects to the pc thru db 25 parallel printer port. but my pc doesnt have printer port hence unable to connect it.though i ve installed pci serial port card, but my pc has win 8 os which it doesnt accept.i tried installing win xp too, but the same.please any one there to tell me what to do? my pc has db 9 port can i use it with db9 to db 25 converter? does these stepper drivers works with them?

    Hi allekh,

    You might want to post your question in a different forum.

    Our KFLOP control could connect to your PC running Win8 via USB to most Step/Dir motor drives. But you would need to purchase our control and would probably be more difficult for you.
