I ended up using a generic 3 axis post processor rather than the Haas one I got from work because it was giving me parse and framing alarms, I'll dig into both the files and see if I can source the error, are there certain characters that cannot be included in code on these older machines?
The big problem came when I discovered that my feed hold button is apparently ornamental, that made me a bit nervous because I was about 20 minutes into a 2 hour program with no way to take a break...
Is that just a regular switch that I can replace for a couple $ or something proprietary? Is there an easy way to tell if its just a broken switch, or something wrong with the board? And most importantly; is there a way to achieve the same result without use of the button? I tried to override the feed to 0 but it stops at 10%...
