Hello,

I have a new machine at my shop with a Heidenhain control and Siemens drives. One of the drives have a read led "RESET x2". The machine works as expected: jogs, .... (I never ran a program on it, but I believe it also works). However I am concerned about this led, that might mean that something is wrong.
I look a lot about manuals for this unit (in my case is the Z axis) but I could not found anything.
Any information, or a pointer to a manual is appreciated.

I have figured out myself. The interface board is from Heidenhain and it is prepared for 2 axis. The Simodrive is only for one axis, so only one axis is used, therefor the second axis that is never used, have the red light on (not ready state).
I had to read not the Siemens docs, but the Heidenhain ones.

Have You still got the Heidenhain docs for this interface? I can't find them any where...

No I sold the machine just about when I post this on the forum, and I believe that I never found the digital documentation.
The only documentation that I had were with the machine itself.
