working on a okuma mc 4020 mill , 5 secs. into auto, alarm 2712 occurs and next to that alarm 2726. question? does alarm 2726 set 2712 off ? cleand back unit ,fluids r all good,green light comes on properly .any help appreciated thx

It's been stated before , Okuma put more than just an alarm number on the screen ...it helps to give a pointer to the alarm source
-there is the number, where/what the problem is, sometimes it gives a "hex" location. and in some instances it tells you how to rectify the alarm

What is written on the whole of the alarm lines ?

Do you have the Errors & Alarms manual (pink) ?

also, the alarm numbers and what they are differ between controls so list the OSP as well (OSP5000/OSP7000/OSP200/OSP300 etc)

Problem resolved...air source to mach.was turned off,which in turn brought about alarms.thru me off awhile but learned.thx for replys..
