Howdy, folks.

My name is Skip and I'm the Admin for the Educational Development and Stimulus Fund (EDSFUND).

We have funding available in the form of matching grants to assist schools, vocational training programs, and maker/hacker spaces in the purchase of Tormach, Inc. equipment. (This is our first round of funding, subsequent rounds will likely expand the roster of equipment eligible for funding.)

Where is the funding for this coming from?

The funding is from private individuals, at this point. As EDSFUND expands, there may be corporate contributions, but at this time it's private individuals interested in helping out STEM groups, vo-tech programs, and maker/hacker spaces.

That is awesome to help schools and stuff. I've never quite understood how all that grant stuff works but helping people learn by paying for equipment is a solid foundation
