    Angry TL1 CRASHED

    CAN ANYONE TELL ME HOW TO LINE THIS TL1 BACK UP ? WHERE DO YOU START????
    IT IS CUTTING .015 TAPER IN 10 INCHES IN Z AND .009 IN 5 ON X

    It sounds like you have moved the headstock. You can check whether the face of the chuck is parallel to the X axis using an indicator, and you will probably find it is out the same as your X taper.

    I crashed my TL2 and moved the headstock and simply loosened the big bolts holding it to the base and then tapped it until I had it cutting within about 0.0005" in 6" on the Z axis.
