Is there a way to program a basic sized cnc machine to work projects longer than the table? Maybe carve an area, pause, move the board down and continue?
I love the CarveWright idea but hate the proprietary software.

This is quite easy in your cad/cam software, divide the job up by creating boxes/boundaries, and select everything within the box/boundary to create the toolpaths. Run it as separate jobs. I do this quite a lot with 3D and 2D machining.

It's rumoured that everytime someone buys a TB6560 based board, an engineer cries!
Even with the proprietary software, you can import and export practically any file format.
