I am having a problem with the WCS in Mastercam. I set a new WCS and it will not stick. I did not have this problem with any other version of mastercam. If I us my spaceball to move the model around and the wcs switches on me. Is anyone else having this issue? Is there a setting that I am not setting?

Your active WCS is indicated in the 1st column, & it is on your bottom plane
--- your construction & toolplane is still linked to the TOP plane

the trick is to highlight the plane (name) you want to be active, then hit the = icon (RH side) to make all ( the WCS,C & T) move to that selection

The tick indicates that that plane is associated within that session ie used in a toolpath operation, stock definition, etc
- the plane cannot be deleted unless all associations linked to it are removed

I know about using the = to set all the planes to that wcs but if I move the model around with my spaceball the wcs changes. I do not know where the ISO wcs and the TOP wcs are linked. In the X6 I did not have problem. This is a new problem that I have not had happen to me yet with mastercam.

- that is a setting in the config file
I think the "Screen" tab ( same page that has "reverse the mouse scroll" )
the bottom 2 checks to be OFF
--- ISO view = TOP
--- and the other that refers to Gview
