Got a strange problem all of a sudden, tried running a program yesterday and when I went to check on it, it had stopped cutting before it was finished, and when I checked the loaded code it stopped mid program and the rest was missing. Thinking I had a problem with the file I made up a new program and ran but it stopped around the same place. after a bit of checking it seems every program i load gets cut off somewhere between 1600 and 1800 lines of code. Restarted Mach and tried again and verified it had loaded the full 13000 lines and the end of code commands were there, tried cutting again and as soon as i started the program got cut around line 1700 and the rest of the program discarded. Tried it with both the 2010 and 1024 screensets and same problem on both. Last program I ran before this was 32000 lines with no problem.
The thing I have done in the meantime is upgrade to version R3.043.066 as the one I used had problems with the 2010 Screenset, added the 2010 screenset and set up for automatic tool zero.

Anybody else experienced something similar, and/or knows the cause of this?

Are there any messages in the status bar?

Parallel port, or motion controller?

You might want to try going back to 3.043.057 or 3.043.062. You can get them from the Machsupport FTP site.

You may have lost your licence file. Mach limits the amount of code without that!

No there is no messages in the status bar, and if it has lost the license file it should be limited to 500 lines shouldnt it.

Will try one of the other versions and see.

It depends on the numbering convention that your Cam software is using.
Some of my CAM uses multiples of 5 and some 10.

It doesn't go by line number. It's 500 actual lines.
