Been thinking of a way to mod the table to use for plasma also. Has anyone done this? I was thinking of a water pan type just to keep sparks down. Of course proper shielding and all that.Thin metal ( metal art stuff ) so not as much air pressure needed, wouldn't need a drain system or anything, I would just clean it out at the end of the day. It's a 2x4' joes that I got some time ago from Kent on this forum and it works well but I'd like to incorporate metal art to.

Here is one which a member modified the 4x4 hybrid machine, he used just aluminum angle layed down for the bed and when he want to use a router he uses some mdf ontop.
Note he also changed the X-Axis (Gantry to use a belt drive to gain the speed a laser needs).

You can do something similar with a plasma for the bed.
