Resetting home position Puma 240 21iTB control

Looking for help resetting the home position on a Puma 240B with Fanuc 21iTB control.

When I indicate a round holder, X is at -.0624 instead of zero.

    Thanks

    Do you have abs encoders?

I dont have my 21I book with me at this point. APZ and APC are the parameters to set zero. You move to the location that you want to be Zero and turn them off then on. #1815 rings a bell. Check your parameter book.

Doing it as described will cause the location to become the Home/reference position, not X0.0

First question: is it true in Y direction?
    If yes = continue.
If no = turret knocked out position and repair is needed.

Write down the value of parameter 1240 for X
Reference machine (handwheel is not as accurate as auto, so specific use gives better outcome)
dial handwheel toward center without changing direction.
Sweep X moving only downward to find 0
    Display the relative position
    Origin the 0 swept location
Move positive, in relative, to the value from 1240
Go to MDI MODE with PWE enabled
    Goto parameter 1815.4
    Set it to 0
    Set it to 1
    Reboot the machine
    Reference the machine
SAFELY send the axis to 0 in automatic and check
Whatever amount that you are off, repeat the process using this known offset amount to correct for deviations of the handwheel.
