Hi,
is there any step by step instruction/tip for setting up coreldraw for cutting and engraving?
I saw this thread and am confused. When did coreldraw include a vector post processor, is it an add on? OK, what i'm thinking is you need to do raster to vector conversion there and move it out to a CAM proggy.
I'm interested.
around 90's for isel you could send plt and 3dplt files..
that's already obsoleted..
gerber accept eps files, in fact the gerber cnc files containing the actual eps or ps points..
beyond these a few company made scripts for corel outp[utting g code..
practically a dxf file, if it contains only linesegments, it only need to save out in xyz format and that is the gcode..

on other hand you get better if you go with a designated program for cnc output..
like ac express 150...
I almost forget ncstudio beside gcode accept plt files
on the zone theres F-engrave , that can make profiling, pocketing and v-carving.. all this for free
What victorofga said, i'm sure.
Cleanup, does it look good, post processing. Your going to need some additional tools here.
Raster to vector is an art in itself.
I have a video for the CorelLaser plugin, but it only applies to CorelLaser/LaserDRW

I didn't even know that existed. Well done.
Thanks - I bought it because it was cheap, and figured I'd learn with it. It's been a LOT of trial and error - I think I cut that around 20+ times before I finally got it right. But overall I'm pretty pleased with it, it's just a learning curve. The LaserDRW actually seems pretty decent. I just wish I had the ability to translate the Chinese manual - the section on CorelLaser is 10 pages.
Now if I could only figure out how to do screen capture instead of holding my cell to film the screen, lol.
the screen you want to capture,
first press ""printscreen"" or key marked as ""prntscrn""
it is located somewhere next the backspace key
after pressed
open windows paint, and paste
save as jpg or bmp
save on location example desktop, you can find..
also look for ""jing"" a free recoder for what happening on screen...
