Hi All
I'm based in the UK and currently work a Record 130+125 cnc machines. We are taking delivery of a new machining centre in May and it's SCM with the Xilog Maestro software.
Basically is it any good compared to Xilog 3 and Xilog plus?

Our Tech guys work with Licom and Alphacam. Would posting with these be an issue with Xilog Maestro or would we need to purchase a new post to convert files into MAESTRO FORMAT?
We've always had an issue where our Tech guys have only been able to program for the 130 cnc and not being able to use the tooling in the programs for the 125 cnc. Hence us 125 operators have to change tooling numbers and repetitions etc and modify the program ourselves at the machining centre itself.

My boss's are not too clued up on the Tech side and programming etc, so i thought i'd ask your advice on here and see what you guys can come up with.
One of our Tech guys said a 'Convertor' may be needed or a new post so the new machine can be programmed with the MAESTRO software. Plus our 125 cnc still runs with Xilog plus

Any help and advice appreciated!
