    ATC-firmware for M24-5 board - looking for

    just replaced a M24-4 board with a M24-5 board

transfer'd settings - flram.uc - from old to new board
    all's working so far
until I tried to use the ATC

now I remember, have to load other firmware into the board, did the same thing years ago for the old board
the "new" board came from a 1 tool machine

this is what motionmechanics displays :
    loading 7.05 K-STD build location 2

    in monitor mode :
    entered K520 monitor mode V507

on the old board I had V4.28b and 5.67 ATC
what do I need now ?
who has it for me ?
if anyone can point me in the right direction that would be great !

Can you post a display of your files you have loaded now, and what type of machine is this board installed?

thank you for you're response, I was hoping you did :->
not sure about what you're wanting to know or what more I can tell you
    pendant reads : loading 7.05 K-STD build location 2
and I loaded the flashram from old board into the "new" one, al settings came through fine
machine can be homed and run fine
tool numbers in gcode are just ignored
there's no ATC in pendant menu's
    it's an MG204

    what more can I say . . . .

If you are using Jobserver to communicate with your machine.

    1. Exit out of Jobserver
    2. Goto start and goto Multicam, find motion mechanic
    3. Open Motion Mechanic, if you get a gray screen. Goto tools and select terminal.
    4. At the > you should see a blinking cursor.
    5. Type qc and enter

At the point you should see all files and parameters loaded in tot the board.

Copy and paste them on to the forum here, I will tell you normally the firmware and modules will not work with different revision of the control board ie M24/k520 rev 4 will not work with M24/k520 rev 5. Parameters will work and even those may have a few more parameters added to their list.

Kees, great to see your still running the old MG!

I cant really help with you with anything Rev 5 related, but that "Logic Voltage 4.930 VDC" looks problematic. My Rev 4 machine would be acting pretty flaky at that voltage. I'm actually pretty jealous of your ability to read that out right from the terminal! I have to break out the multimeter.
My main machine: Multicam MG series (MG101) with original Extratech H971 controller, Minarik servo motors, Electro-Craft BRU-series drives, 4KW Colombo. Let's talk Multicam!

Boltz is correct on the voltage....you need to boost that to 5.9 as far as the other files...i have put 4 in this zip file, hope they help.

    result !
took the latest, most recent one
    k5atc447.uc
    which is in fact :
    7.05.01

    no more error messages !
extra functionality added, some of them a bit weird
    nevertheless, thank you !
where do I send the cake ?

Re: ATC-firmware for M24-5 board - looking for

it's now possible to open the tool-chuck from the pendant
wasn't high on my wish list :->

    this :
    home sequence -> load tool 1 -> warm-up
    works
strange though, machine goes to the middle of the table twice before going in to warm up cycle

    this doesn't work
spindle test -> error : "tool not loaded"
tool 1 is loaded according to the display on pendant

could any of this being changed by a setting ?
I have an old flashram list, maybe something has been added, I haven;t look in to it to see if there are params added, I use a spreadsheet to do this kind of things

it's nice to see the ATC tool-length set problem is done with now
( after setting the a new tool in ATC had to load any other tool and back to gain the right setting )
