Hass mill 2011 model suddenly needs a new back up battery that should of lasted 10 years, but are going pop after just three at an amazing cost of £800 or about $1400, I nearly died when I opened the bill, how can anyone justify this expense every three years! This mini mill is not that good, doesn't even do angles, 45 degrees yes but the rest is just muck.

What is the voltage and amp hour rating of the battery? I'm sure you can find a replacement somewhere much cheaper.

We ran in to this recently. Why on earth Haas was dumb enough to hard solder a battery on the motherboard is beyond me.

I don't know where you're looking for batteries because you could literally replace the whole processor board for that price. The processor battery retails for $30 here in the US.
