So, I bought this cheap 40w Chinese Laser cutter/engraver. I knew I was up for a treat buying Chinese, however, I cannot seem to find where this one goes wrong. I checked the electrical works, it seems fine. Anyone has any suggestions?

There is no power at all...never seen before :-) Do you have voltage meter. Maybe power cable, or connection? Power switch. There is small glassfuse inside power near power in cables, maybe its broken. Also check power in cables connections.
Thanks! Somehow, it gives some power, the only thing working in this machine are now the LED strips located inside the cutting area :') I'll update later on the test results!
Like Miktola said there is a fuse built into the power connector on the back of the machine but the led strip shouldn't work if it was out. It's in a little plastic drawer.I would check it anyway . But the power route is from that rear connector up to the switch and from there to the rear of that power supply. The connections are marked so check for ac there so check for voltage there. Watch out for wrong voltage power supply. 110 or 220 they can be shipped wrong!
110V or 220v very good point :-)
Did you check the big red button
Or its a fuse or any problem with red button wires.
check both!
