Hello I have been setting up my new weike lg3040 with new laser tube. I have come across a problem on the mpc6515 controller, hoping someone might have knowledge to help. Machine starts up no problem, controller on. I insert my usb formatted to fat16 with the mol file, which was stored onto the stick via export cfg. I followed the manual to do this. Simple circle drawn to test and get to grips with machine. Insert into the usb at the side of the controller file downloads,remove usb as instructed. File name is displayed. Can move xy and z axis via controller, fire laser, escape, stop and enter buttons all working. Problem arises when I press the test button... Nothing screen displays Tcontouring please wait. Does nothing like its frozen. Can get back to main menu by pressing the stop button. Try start button wont start anything. Any idea what I am doing incorrectly. I tried saving a file onto usb via export file also incase it was an export problem. When I insert a file into controller via this export method I get soft start.

I have a few problems trying to get my laser cutter running, can you
help?

I cannot get my laser cutter to communicate with my pc.
Using the installation cd's supplied with the laser cutter on Windows XP as
suggested in the manual. I have attempted to install the LT USB DRIVERS SET
UP V2.6 and MPC6515 drivers, linked with the blue USB cable to the pc. I run
the set up and get the following message 'set up failed. Operation to files
and disc is wrong'(I have attached an image of this). The pc does not pick
up any hardware or recognise the PC to USB to Laser cutter connection
either. I therefore can not communicate any program with the laser cutter.

I have also tried Exporting CFG to a USB flash drive stick instead
(formatted to FAT16). I can get the laser cutter controller to download file
from USB stick , it recognises a name of file, but when I press TEST I get
the following display with no movement or output 'Tcontouring please wait'
the machine does not do anything, no movement . I have to press stop to go
back to main menu. If I press the Start button the laser cutter also does
not do anything. Machine has a brand new laser tube, laser fires and is
alligned, can move the x, y and z axis with the controller. Just can not
Test a contour or run a file.

On Laser cut 5.3 software, I press the Download button and a 'communication
timed out' error message is displayed.
I then try to download CFG or Download current, message displays
'MotionCard-SoftDog no same!'

I am attempting to run the laser off Microsoft Windows XP PC although I do
also have a Windows 7 laptop I can also use. I tried to install the LT USB
DRIVERS SET UP V2.6 from a website on my Windows 7 laptop to try. On this
I managed to get my laptop to recognise the blue USB cable linked up,
identified as EZ- USB FX2, but it does not complete the installation, I get
the message 'the driver isn't found or there is a problem and the install
can't go on' Contact your service provider.

My Laser cutter is a LG3040 with MPC6515 controller. Operator pad displays
V4.0.3 when machine is started, on the controller board at the back of the
laser sticker displays V4.1.2.5. The software dongle colour is white.


I have checked my firmware version
Version DLL - 4.1.2.2
Version of Firmware- 124.0.18.245
Version of Hardware- 120.107.197.26

Drivers for windows XP and
Windows 7 installation would be useful. I would really like to get working
