    Fuji Spindle drive error on Miyano lathe with Fanuc 6T

    Hi,

    I have a fuji dc spindle drive that appears to have failed on a 1981 miyano lathe with 6t controller.
    It is a Fuji FSD30 DN23.
    It has the 88l led on..... I am hoping someone can point me in the right direction with what could be the problem.

    Are there any alternative drives available that could replace these older fuji drives?

    The spindle slowed down, before stopping. It will now not start up with a not ready alarm. It smelt like it had smoked itself. Does anyone have a manual for any similar spindle driver that could tell us what the 88L led means?
