Hello,

We have a 3 axis Mill with a fagor 8055i MC and the machine has been working great and we are looking to add some more functionality to it by unlocking the probing cycles on the machine. However, there is little to no info out there on how to hookup these probes or tool setters to these controls and these manuals are abysmal.

Has anyone installed one of these probes on a Fagor control or another control thats similar? All I can find is that I need to wire it to the x3 connector in the back of the control cabinet. There is only like 4 wires to hook up but I dont want to screw anything up in the control cabinet or the new probe.

Any help on this would be greatly appreciated!

So, I have had some email exchanges with Mike Matera at MSC and he provided me with the wiring diagram for this control and probe combo. I will try and get a picture of the diagram up here soon!

Did you ever post the connection drawings and do you know if they are the same as the 8055 (not 8055i)?
