Looking into purchasing BOP (Basic Operation Package). Are there different levels of BOP? Any short fall with the package? Are there any other options to utilize the HSSB for PC to CNC communication?

As far as I know, there are 2 levels. Focas1 is the Basic level, and Focas2 is for screen display functionality. Focas1 allows for monitoring positions, program edit functions, parameter functions, diagnostics etc. Focas2 is basically a remote screen viewing utility, but has a shortfall in that the CNC screen and MDI keypad are out of action while running the PC version. Both utilise the HSSB (Ethernet) for communications.

Hi Oz,
I have a lot of 30i controls in our plant and I am performing backups. A few of the machines are missing the page that contains ALL DATA soft key. I've narrowed it down to parameter 313 bit 0. Turning it on in the machines that have parameter 313 enables that page. But I have machines that are suppose to be "identical", that do not list parameter 313.
Parameter 313 bit zero is labeled as BOP.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
