    Considering a Mycenter 4

I have an older Fadal 4020, and need some more VMC capacity. I currently have a SuperKia Turn LMS that I am considering trading for a 2000 Mycenter 4 Kiti with a Fanuc control, pallet changer, probe, 10k spindle. 40k power on time hours, about 2800 cutting hours...looks to be in good shape. I am familiar with boxed way machines, and prefer to stick with one if possible. Cool thing for me is that I am a Fanuc robot integrator and have a lot of spares on the shelf that cross reference to that vintage machine (motors, drives, etc).... Seems like a good move, just looking for some advice from folks who've used them, maybe some comments on the good/bad/and ugly that I should look out for.

    Thanks!

Kiti's are quite good machines, however I've run in to more than a few with z axis gib problems, check the spindle tram, that will tell you right away.

    Thanks for the info.

We're going up Monday to check out the machine. What else should I be looking for?
