    Set neck/p90 pockets

Hello, I'm pulling my hair out trying to figure out how to cut my 3d model I created from solidworks. I want to use a 1/2 to rough and 1/4 to clean up. My question is what steps do you take when doing pockets like this one? One by one or can I do both pickup pockets and neck pocket at the same time?? Please help me I'm about to jump out the window!!!

Also I've tried doing pockets on these but it won't cut out the bottom part of the pickup oposite from the open pocket

I like to keep the machining of features separate that way they can be tweaked or machined at different times. I assume it's the different depths that are causing headaches, but maybe you've got angled surfaces in there too ? Not sure what CAM you are using and what it supports but I do something like this: Make a configuration named "No NJ" (etc) and suppress your cut features for the Neck joint. Then pocket for your pickups. Do similarly for the neck joint with the P90 pockets suppressed - you might be fine that them as-is by using the NJ edge as the machining boundary.
