Ikegai FX25II won't turn the spindle

Hello! We have been struggling with our FX25II for a while already and I'm hoping to find some good tips here.
The problem started when the machine refused to power up, but after turning the switch on and off very fast for some time it does power up. The hydraulics seem to work also. But even at this point we cannot get the spindle turning. Sometimes after changing the direction or turning off the spindle locking it might turn just a little and stop. There is red "busy" light lit all the time and we cannot get it off. Also after some time we get alarm with a code 00001.

So does anyone have any ideas where to start searching the cause for this? We have already checked fuses and some of the relays.

Sounds like your main breaker has a problem to start with. If you have to anything other then just turn it on, I wonder if all the contacts are being fully made. Check the input voltage to the spindle drive while you are trying to start the spindle. You may be pulling a leg down to the point that the drive cant run.

Thank you for your answer. It seems the problem isn't the input voltage of spindle drive as the spindle turns a little bit when changing the speed setting from high to low. When we try to start running a program, machine just says "NOT READY" so maybe its caused by some software problem? Does it think it is still doing the previous work or what could cause that kind of message?

NOT READY is normally hardware. The start up string of events has been broken. When in E-Stop it is not ready. The easiest way to find it is to jump out the ready circuit one element at a time. Best to have a second person man the main switch in case any thing goes wrong. I am still not convinced that the main is OK. The spindle turning a little bit may just be the time it takes to fault out.

He probably means when changing the gear. most machines will rotate the spindle a little bit when changing gears on a stopped spindle. thats normal.
you just have some kind of hardware/electrical issue. aside from the danger of unqualified people playing in the cabinet with high voltages, non-specific electrical/electronic faults like this are nearly impossible to fully diagnose online.
you will need to call your local Fanuc repairer and get them to come out to you and repair it.
